The industry of the video game is caught at present in a dangerous tendency that might harm it severely in the next years unless it manages to escape of her and to take difficult but necessary decisions.
Although the video games tend to take more creative risks, the economic crisis and the increase of the cost of design of a game class A (Modern Warfare 2, Dragon Age Origins, etc) has done that the original properties become rarer and rarer.
The aftermath floods us and most of them are the familiar one “More of the same“ while a few innovations are established every year for convetirse in monolithic exemption to the first sign of success. It is debatable that the video games can aspire to a scale and narrative very superior to the movies, television, etc but the absence of repetition of subject-matters might.
