Does Colonial Aliens Marines still fight for his life?

After that Aliens vs Predator was stealing all the leading role from him and was leaving it in state of coma, the very awaited shooter of science fiction Aliens: Colonial Marines seemed to be destined for the limbo.

Nevertheless, recent comments of Randy Pitchford, one of the chiefs of Gearbox, revealed that the study responsible for Borderlands, he has been dedicating all his attention to the game that was initially announced 3 years behind.

Seemingly Gearbox turned out to be so busy with Borderlands and his subsequent DLC that it did not have the time to fulfill his promise to give us the mythical rifle of pulse and the sonic detector and to send us to hunt Xenomorphs (Aliens in the vernacular language) across some of the most memorable stages of the cinematographic saga.

The game destined for the time being to PC, Xbox 360 and PS3, supposedly would be ambientado shortly after the deplorable pelíoula Aliens 3 and would show to a group of Colonial Marines traveling round the whole universe in an attempt for preventing the Aliens infestation from leaving of control. Our trips would take us to the Sulaco, the famous ship of war of the second movie of the saga, Acheron, the planet where the first eggs of the creatures were, between others.

Although my dear and respected companion Cilinder X enjoyed much of Aliens Vs Predator, I felt extremely disappointed by the treatment that him gave to the personages and I hope that this new adventure should treat better the Aliens and Marines, giving him a fully deserved rest to the Predator.
